NPOさざなみのPHAへの加入が決定

 

NPOさざなみ および Doctors fo future Japan (DFJ) が日本で９つめの Planetary Health Aliance （PHA）メンバーとして認定されました。　

 

PHAは人の環境と地球の環境を包括的に考察し持続可能な社会への活動を支える新たな学問領域、Planetary Health を啓発する世界最大のネットワークです。世界各国合わせて550以上の大学、政府機関、ＮＧＯ/ＮＰＯが参加しています。

 

我が国におけるPHAメンバーは２０２６年８月時点で

の９機関となります。

Increasing infectious and non-communicable disease burden, heat-related mortality, and decreasing nutrition: global environmental challenges pose enormous risks for our health and wellbeing. But they also provide opportunities for action.

We can no longer ignore the human-caused disruptions of our natural environment. We can no longer ignore the impacts that global environmental change has on our health, with globally increasing diseases, heat-related mortality, mental health risks, and decreasing nutrition affecting communities worldwide. These challenges provide opportunities for cross-disciplinary action.
